I mean really back there? Black and white? We get TCM here and Robert Osborne gives us some wonderful old pictures to look at. I was just wondering if anyone else shares this passion.

Actually I do share this ...I am not very familiar with alot of them..but i just finished taking a film and culture class and I had to watch many different films...Casablanca, silent ones such as Charlie Chaplin, Citizen Kane and many others..I enjoyed all of them. I have always watched Musicals...and that sort of thing...I love them.

I much prefer the old movies. Do you like dogs, horses and comedy, check out You never can tell. Really good, I think.

There are a few of them I like. I just watched "The Bishop's Wife" with Loretta Young and Rock Hudson. Very good. One other I truly enjoy is "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir." That one has a very young Natalie Wood in it, I think.

Yes, that was Natalie. That was a good picture.

I just finished watching "Murder Ahoy" with Margaret Rutherford. Another wonderful old picture is "It Grows on Trees". I love it, but have not seen it for many years.

I'm trying to get more into them. They're great & generally uplifting without being too preachy.

My favorite so far is Mrs. Miniver.

Have you ever seen the Thin Man movies? there are 6 of them and the characters are Nick an Nora and they are investigators. They are really hilarious. They are set in the 30's or 40's.
