I think that was called "Bringing up baby" I LOVE all the old Cary Grant movies!!! Then Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, and Rebecca are some of my favorites. And all the 'Ma and Pa Kettle" movies, which also brings me to 'The Egg and Eye" Lordy I could go on and on and on!!!!!! Love the oldies!!!!! :D

Cary Grant in "I Was a Male War Bride" is hilarious.
Some Like It Hot is my favourite all time movie - Gone With The Wind next.
But for a good sniffle, Random Harvest with Ronald Coleman

Ditto ~ I have to watch this movie every year and it has to be the black and white version. I purchased the color version years ago and watched it once....just not the same. I am a fan of old westerns b&w or color doesn't matter, have to also throw in Bonanza and Gun Smoke. :)

The cutest Christmas movie I think is the "Lemon Drop Kid" with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby. They are two con men trying to save the "House for old dolls" or the old ladies home.

Bob hope is always eating lemon drops so hence his name....

Cary Grant is my all time favorite star for old movies. I have quite a collection of his and my favorite is "An Affair to Remember" with Deborah Kerr. I cry every single time I watch it. I also like "Houseboat" with Sophia Loren and "Father Goose" with Leslie Caron. I got my daughters hooked on Cary Grant when they were very young and they still love his movies today.
