My favorite old movie is "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn". " Peggy's Apartment" is another one that was good. A Christmas favorite is "Little Women".

My Mom went to the same high school as Butterfly McQueen. They sometimes ate lunch together. After Mom died, I found an autographed picture of Ms. McQueen. (wonder what it's worth...$$$) :-)

I remember watching Creature Features, too LOL
I have been scanning the channel guide for old movies, it is sad they don't have more on...:( |
Red Skelton - Clem Kaddidlehopper - The seagulls I can't remember their names. And he did a clown. He also did a movie where he went to a girl's school as the only male. Can't remember the name of it.

My mother's middle name was Gertrude. My Sis and I would start laughing even before he started the joke.

My all time favorites are Jimmy Cagney and John Wayne.
Just watched, 'Angels With Dirty Faces'. Had the Bowery Boys, Bogart and Pat O'Brien as the Priest. We recently watched 'Angel & The Badman', a classic John Wayne movie with Gail Russell. |
