I have two boys neither inherited my artistic capabilities but are great in other ways. I have a new daughter in law who I tried to teach to crochet she tried but just didn't have the patience not interested in quilting except having me make them for them. Now I have to figure out who to leave my stuff to in (hopefully) 40 years

Well if your looking to adopt I'll be your daughter! My kids dont sew either. they did when they were younger, you know quick little projects. My daughter has a sewing machine but she said she has never used but her honey has. She does like to crochet and cross stitch, but she never finishes a project.

I'm sure there will be granddaughters some day!!!!!

My daughter so far does not quilt, she has two little children and runs day care from her home,so not alot of free time for her.
My son doesn't either but maybe someday he'll marry someone with an intrest in quilting :D
But I have told both of them that my fabric is not cheap,so if you don't want it when I'm gone you either sell it for good money or give it to someone who will enjoy it. :D  :D Don't just throw it out!!!!!!!!!

My daughter quilts, but not very often. I had her play with the longarm, but she says she isn't that talented and would leave that art/creativeness to me. She says she is too analytical for that.
My son has some of my creativeness/artistic ability, but doesn't quilt.

My daughters do not quilt or do any type of sewing. I have 5 granddaughters but only the 11 year old has shown any sign of maybe catching the sewing and quilting bug. I didn't start quilting until my 40's so maybe there is hope.

One of my daughter has tried to quilt, but she's has only finished one quilt. She made a manly lap quilt for her boyfriend who has since become her fiance. She has a braid table runner started, but she says she doesn't have the time to finish it. The other 2 daughters don't really want to sew. My pride and joy is my 3 year old grandson who comes in and says "Can we sew, Granny?"

I plan on having mine all used up by the time I go.

Of course I'll have to live to 237 yrs old.

My oldest DD has mentioned that she would like to learn to sew, but not sure if she really wants to. Youngest DD has no desire what so ever to sew.

My little DGD(who is 5) loves to play with fabric and sew. We got her a Janome Sew-Mini for Christmas and hope to teach her to sew soon. We just have to find time when her little brother, who is 22 months, isn't around.

my daughter is 2. She loves to play hide and seek in my fabric. She'll pull out all sorts of colors and say, "mommy pretty!" and "quil" is quilt. One day maybe she'll sew with me.
