I give them as gifts.

That sounds really cute. I have a small American Eskimo that is 2 yrs old and if she finds tissue or paper towel down she'll shred them. Thank goodness that she leaves the stuff on the roll alone. I got some really cute Christmas designs this yr to put on the TP. What kind of stablizier do you use? I know that's a loaded question because most of us have our favorites but I like hearing what others use to see if they have a better one.

If I were to go to that much trouble, I think I'd embroider on a reusable toilet paper cover. Less likely to get flushed, especially in a house with kiddies.

They are cute -

But in our household it would be considered a waste of good paper and thread.

I love the idea and this will make a great fun gift for me to give at Christmas to my daughter's in-laws plus my children.

Sometimes I use cutaway, and sometimes I use tear away, it all depends on which one is closest to me at the time.

Well, this was certainly a first for me. I definitely learned something new and different today. It really looks nice, but my time is too, too, too limited. This is not going on the bucket list. For now, anyway.

I love to embroider on TP! It is fast and easy. There on directions on emblibrary.com and on goodiesbygail.com
Gail has some of the funniest designs for TP out there and great prices. I have over 50 of them and they all stitchedout beautifully. These make great housewarming, hostess, batchelor party, retirement and so on gifts. Just be sure they have a since of humor for some of them.

I too have embroidered on TP (for gifts for my quilting friends). It is easy/fast and a gift that people talk about for a long time. If you like to use your embroidery machine this is just one way to use it. Nice for display only don't use it!

I am seeing Christmas gifts in my future! I will buy a pack of cheap TP and use the good stuff for around the front!!
