I read the book or rather tried to. Too slow. Not interested in the movie.

The book is very slow to start. If you hang in there, it is really good. I highly recommend the book over the movie.

I found the book at a thrift store for 88 cents....but just couldn't get into it. And I love murder mysteries!!

I listened to this book as an audible book. I enjoyed it that way. I tried to watch the movie and IMHO it was too slow. I couldn't stick with it after about 20 minutes.

I've found that they make women way too stupid in books and movies. I am offended but then sometimes I see how women act and I can understand.

Tried to read it as it was on the top ten list for so long but didn't get too far. Didn't like it. So won't go to the movie.

I read the book because I had heard so much about it. I was very disapointed......she should be a quilter---then she wouldn't have time to be so obsessed with all that crap. talk about co-dependent.....book really turned me off......can't imagine why so many young adult women, believing in their own rights, etc, would find this book interesting. I thought it was sick.........

I started to read the book but never finished it. I thought it was depressing.

I read the book a while ago - slow to start but I was glad to stick with it. Funnily enough I started to watch the film just last night and twenty minutes in - turned it off. Too confusing and although not a favourite book - it was better than the film.
