Great dryer sheet tip!

I was roasting something in the oven & made a huge mess of my pan- to the point I didn't know if I could salvage it. I remembered reading a tip somewhere online about soaking the pan overnight with a some water & a dryer sheet so I thought I'd give it a try. The next day the baked on gunk literaly rinsed right off! I was amazed & thrilled (& a little smug as my husband told me I'd probably have to throw the pan out!)

I figured I must have seen the tip here since this is where I get so many good ideas. Sure enough, I did a search & found the original that Tussymussy had posted awhile ago. Thanks Tussymussy!

thanks for the tip & link, I just learned a lot about Bounce!

I tuck several Bounce sheets throughout our pop up camper before putting it away for the winter. So far, no mouse problem. Since it smells so fresh, we leave them in all summer, just tucking them under the cushions. I add several new ones each fall... just to be safe.

Wow, thanks for the great tips, I'm going to try them! I learn so much on this site.

I also heard they work great when camping as bug repellants in tents.

I put Bounce sheets in our motorhome cabinets and cupboards before winter starts. Have never had a problem with mice and it smells so much better than things such as moth balls.

i'm thinking a little oven cleaner sprayed in the pan would also salvage it. oven cleaner is designed to remove such baked on burnt on stuff. it has worked for me in the past.
