I had my grandmother's machine which looked just like yours. I remember her sewing with it. Unfortunately, I sold it for $10 long before I found the Quilting Board. I am very unhappy that I sold it.

That is one of the prettiest machines I have ever seen. Congratulations on your new machine and of course the anniversary.
Now I'm off to give my husband some not so subtle hints. |
Very nice. Happy Anniversary!

here is something neat...back in '05 when we moved here, there was an estate sale a couple blocks over. It was the sale of the SINGER man..he did service and sales here for over 50 years!!!
I do not know why, but I bought a couple of those tool chest things with all the little drawers, full of parts to vintage machines... tonight I got the box out that now houses those parts and in the mess was one lone key...I took it out and walked over to "Betsy" and guess what...it worked...now her case can lock..yay.....and I have 4 more bullet shuttles and a about 30+ bobbin spindles for her....how cool it that??? now if I could just get a manual so I can learn how to thread her..hehehe |
Happy anniversary! Now. What did u get him??
