Everybody loves "The Cat in the Hat", and of course "The Grinch" is famous at Christmas. How about "The Lorax"?
Is he among your Dr. Seuss favorites? |
No, I don't care for the Lorax but I do like Green Eggs and Ham.
And Horton Hears a Who and Horton Hatches the Egg. And the Cat in the Hat Comes Back. One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut! And that great question: "Oh Say Can You Say? Twenty-five years in kindergarten develops a taste for GREAT literature and read-alouds. Remember what Horton said, "A person's a person no matter how small." |
Love all things Dr. Suess. I am a Middle & High School media specialist, but we still use some of his stuff. A few teachers have students write poetry using his style of writing, and we use some of his stuff in history, such as "The Butter Battle Book". This work is his treatise on nuclear war--and you all thought his stuff was just for kids....

Yes to all Seuss! It's a winner for sure!
|
LOVE the Lorax! That's one of my favorites for sure!
|
Never heard of it.
I'm still on Green Eggs and Ham and One First, Two Fish. I didn't like the Cat in the Hat, either. Bad Cat! Bad Cat! |
I like the Lorax, but when the Zax come in, let me know! My hubby and eldest always say, "There's mom and her twin!" Gotta love the Zax!
