WOW ! But I can't help but think whoever did that didn't realize that maybe the stamps were worth more to a collector ? It would be interesting to see if they still have any value ?

WHO in the right mind would use those? Not me! I'm thinking it's someone who cleaned out mom/dads/gramma/grampa's attic/house/garage and found them...... |

WOW! OMG! I agree that somebody died and this is part of their collection. Look at the dates of some of those. Oh gosh. My dad collected stamps.
I do hope you're not tossing them! Even cancelled, collectors still want them. Please find someone who wants them. |

I grew up in the next town north of Hyde Park, and I remember those Lincoln stamps, too. I can't believe they crammed that many on an envelope!
