Awe, what a bummer!

Wow!, I haven't made to the sisters show yet, but looks like it was a good idea not to try this year. Our weather has been muggy and it was damp this morning, but no storms. The Siskiyou's get a few wildfires this time of year from lighting but so far we have been lucky.

So sad that they got rained out. Hope everyone and all the quilts were ok. It is on my bucket list to see this show some year!!!

Wish we could have that rain come our way. Here in Missouri, it is so dry, we are having to water our trees so we don't loose them. The grass went dormant weeks ago. I'm worried about water shortages and our food prices. These temperatures of 100+ and no rain, is not a good combination.

Wow..that does look like a down pour. We just had a thunderstorm and heavy rain go thru my area but we really needed and wanted it. Everyone's grass has been so yellow due to lack of rain his Summer.

Cna't say I'm sad when people are desperate for rain-the quilts will still be available-one of our guilds show sites was flooded out last year and changed venues virtually overnight-keep the faith the show will go on but go puddle jumping in the meantime and cherish what a lot of us are so desperately seeking (Best intentions)

If mother nature would just send some rain to all of Missouri. It is so dry and it has been at least a month since I have seen that stuff called rain. And it had to rain where they did not want it, how sad. Great pics and looks that it started to be a great show.

Luckily, my group of 6 were there early and on the way back to where we were staying in Redmond before the weather hit. We went to Material Girls in Redmond and ran into a group of ladies who had come from Vancouver Island in Canada and had been told by someone to not go in the morning, but to wait until afternoon. I feel so bad for them because I'm sure they didn't get there in time to see hardly any of the quilts before the storm hit.

Please please send us the leftover rain. All our plants and trees are dying in central Indiana.
