On Sunday, we decided to take a little ride around the Southern side of the island.
I had my camera with me and got a few pics. Hope you like them.

Looking down the valley to the little village of Umatac, you can see what we call London Bridge. Umatac is belived to be where Magellan first landed.
I tried to get a picture of the monument the have, but there were too many people and no place to park. The village has a fiesta every year in honor of Magellan.

Going further, you see Cocos Island. It's a nice retreat you can go and visit. Snorkeling and diving is supposed to be awesome there. If you don't want to take the little boat (about a 30 min ride) you can rent a kayak and go yourself.

London Bridge....I'm sure it has another name, but I don't know it...sorry.
