I feel your pain. I hate snow. At least, down there it should melt pretty quickly.

I lived in Nashville for 12 years and we got snow there too. Hang on Spring is coming.

Here are some flowers for you.

Love the flowers. Gives us all hope.

It's headed our way--should start in the next few hours. We are ready for it---grocery shopped yesterday, car is full of gas and we have firewood in case the electricity goes out.

Just think... there are people up north that would kill for that little bit of snow (compared to the blizzards that dump feet on us) :D

How far south did you move?

Also - love your quote ....power tool! My son in law doesn't 'do' power tools and has told my daughter that there is no fear of him touching her sewing machine because it "IS' a power tool LMBO

She is the one who works the power tools of all kinds in their household - he does the cooking!

In the blizzard of 1978 my husband (before I met him) was working at a gas station less than 300 FEET from his house (Massachusetts). It took him two days to get home and he and the other two guys lived on candy bars and soda. Now that is a snow storm.

(I was living in Nashville at the time. Got about 2 inches)

Isn't it the truth? I stayed here in Jacksonville (past 35 years) for the beaches, the warm weather, and not having to shovel snow anymore. Trust me as I tell you I will NOT be shoveling snow this time either. BUT I've not had to wear a winter coat in all these years until now. It's NOT fun!

Our weather is achanging.

My mom always tells the story of when she was in high school in Iowa (late 60s I think) and there was a snow storm so bad, she got stuck in the house with TWO guys she was dating at the time. Guess the snow was completely covering the doors and no one could get out. Now that's a place a wouldn't want to be!
