This morning I just finished the last in the Elm Creek Quilt series by Chiaverrini. So I have to wait for her to come out with her next book sometime this year.
I am also reading the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. Laugh out loud when I read her work!

I just finished this book too. Some friends of mine in a book club are reading it, and we are all going to see the movie when it comes out this summer. I hope it's half as good as the book. We also read Water For Elephants and then went to the movie. The movie stuck quite well to the book, but left out a lot of the characters' personal details.

sounds really good. Read a book named Scarlett, about what happened after Gone With the Wind.
Yes, I liked that one very much, I read it when it first came out.... might revisit it!

Right now, anything by Maeve Binchy. I read her years ago, but when I ordered my books one line from the library, I decided to request any of her books in LARGE PRINT. Five were available and I enjoyed the second time around even more than the first. I truly believe that reading keeps the brain cell active. GiGi

Just finished "Facing Down Evil: Life on the Edge as an FBI Hostage Negotiator" by Clint van Zandt.

Now reading
1) Spent: Memoirs of a Shopping Addict by Avis Cardella
and
2) Tweak by Nic Scheff

Would recommend all 3 of these books! :)

we were talking about politicians and I remarked that I would vote for Kinky Friedman if he ran -- so I'm rereading some of his books -- next is the new Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum book due out June 21 -- I too have read and reread JD Robb's In Death books many times -- I love mysteries/detective books

That book is awesome. I really enjoyed it. Another book about WW II is The Book Thief. It's very good.

Just finished "Brooklyn" for my book club; last week was "The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven." The latter is a life-changing true story...highly recommend it. Next on top is Jennifer Chiaverini's "Union Jack." Loved all her previous books!

Everything by John Grisham, Lee Child, James Patterson, Tess Gerritsen, Janet Evanovich, Sue Grafton... Get the idea I like adventure/mysteries???
