My favorite is Cruising. I love to go on the open water. Being on a Ship makes me slow down. There is no hurry for nothing. That being said, my next vacation is a little over 100 days away....can't wait to get back on the water :D

I also enjoy cruising. I have been on 5 so far. But my all time favorite is going to Maui and just relaxing and soaking up the sun. Been there 8 or 9 times and am hoping to go before the end of this year. DH favorite is Puerto Vallarata and we go every spring. Sometime I would like to go to Alaska to see the Northern Lights. Been there twice on cruises but no Northern Lights.

I agree....nothing like a cruise.
I don't like renting a cabin or a condo, then everyone but me goes on vacation. I still have to cook, clean, laundry....so NOT a vacation!

I just LOVE vacation!

Just about any. I love historic vacations, walking through rebuilt settlements like Jamestown, New Salem, etc., going to museums of all most any type from the Mariner's Museum in Paducah to the Museum of Funeral Customs in Springfield, Il. I love going to the ocean. I loved this past June's vacation in Texas with #1 SS, his family and the GGDs then to BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS and MARSHALL's DRY GOODS. In fact, I liked that one so much I'm planning another next year. Even mini-vacs are fun for me---a quilting retreat, painting retreat, a weekend away, I love them all. I haven't been on a cruise yet.

One where I can explore nature, nothing is on a time schedule, come and go as I please, shop if I want, play if I want, do new things, and not worry about the expense.

I guess camping, fishing, hiking, exploring, river rafting, antique shops, quilt shops, and just kicking back and realaxing.

Never been on a cruise. Maybe one of these days...
