She's too cute to have a name like that. What do you say to her when you want her to go away? :)

Leave her name alone  She knows it. One of my DD started fostering a rescue dog 3 years ago. At the time the dog was the 8th one pulled out of the mess. The dogs were called by their numbers. My DD still has the dog and her name is "Number 8."

I think she needs another name, but I'm not good at picking our names for furbabies. 8-) I have two kitties -- one named Gracie because she is gray in color and one named Bitsy (see my avatar) because she was the runt of the litter, and I referred to her as Itsy Bitsy. She was so little at 9 weeks old that she could fit in the palm of my hand! She's still a little bitty kitty -- only about 5 1/2 to 6 pounds and is now 7 months old. I'm not sure she will get much bigger.

Change her name to something cute, that is way too negative. Dogs can pick up on negativity. Better to call her Adorable.

You can choose something with the same beginning or the same ending and they will get it. I would change the name, not only for her sake but for yours. It can't feel good telling someone you love "go away" all the time!

Perhaps you could adapt something so she would still recognise herself, but it didn't sound so off putting to yourselves. What about Go-anna? After a little while, it could evolve to Joanna

i have a friend that says i need to call her .com
thanks for all the input will keep watching and making list of new names.
