A few weeks ago I asked for prayers for my brother with cancer and up coming surgery. Well he had the surgery Monday and after a very difficult week, we have heard they got the cancer. Also he has turned the bend, is doing so much better and may possibly go home this evening. Folks, I am here to tell you THANKS from the bottom of all of our hearts for your prayers and well wishes. I know without a doubt God answers prayers and watches over all of us. I will now go shopping today for a few gifts for my family. We will celebrate tomorrow and be reminded once again of the Reason for the Season! Merry Christmas and Thank you!

So happy for you and your family. Remember that positive thinking also seems to help. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Thanks and I have always been a huge supporter of mind over matter. So many things went so wrong though, our thoughts were not positive. We, his wife, another brother and me, took turns sleeping there so we were exhausted which doesn't help. Communication at this hospital was lacking until regular help came back to work. It may not have helped that my brothers and I are all health care administrators, his wife is a social worker, and we all expect a very high level of care!

I know what you mean---I worked for several years in a "Customer Service" position as a trouble shooter and problem solver. I, too, expect others to give me the same high level of service that I demanded from myself. Doesn't work that way too often though.

Congratulations! Tell your brother that we'll keep praying for his continued recovery. The best Christmas gift ever is the gift of love and it sounds like your family has plenty of that. "God so LOVED the world (you and me) that He GAVE....." That's what tells us that the Christmas season is about giving love.

I'm still feeling kinda numb about it! We were so worried about it and him. He crashed just as I was feeding him some ice chips on Tuesday and it scared the living poo out of me!!! My body is still achey from sitting/standing/walking in that tiny room. His wife, my other brother and I stayed with him all week. Thank goodness it's coming to an end!

There is power and in prayer and positive attitude...so thankful for him and your family that he received that much needed support.
