Just wondering are there any quilters that are hunters as well? It is deer hunting season in WI.

My brother only did a little this year, one dear and one antelope. He has been doing more fishing this year instead of hunting. He really enjoyed tuna fishing. He also has helped a few others hunt because he knows where the deer are.

I am a quilter and deer hunter. Though I have to sit this season out as I sold my bow when we went through some tough financial times in the last year or so.

I'm a quilter and a hunter...

...In the sense that Hunter is my last name. ;)

I quilt and I hunt. I just returned from a week of sewing and deer hunting. We have a small cabin in the woods. Being on a deer stand in the middle of the woods allows you a great deal of time to reflect on life, not to mention lots of time to pray. My first hunt this year I saw a bobcat with her baby, a coyote and 4 deer. Life is good.

I used to hunt with my Dad when I was young. He took me out to hunt rabbits and turkey. Needless to say we never brought anything home, I made way to much noise. God bless him he tried anyway. Now I hunt for the things my children have lost or just plain misplaced, and the Lord knows I'm always hunting for the things I've hidden from myself.
