Quilter's Trolley
#1
Hi,
I'm fairly new here but I've been reading a lot of messages. I was at a Quilt Show in Columbus, Ohio this past June. I saw quite a few ladies when we were leaving bringing there goodies out in a device that was called a "Quilters Trolley". This was embroidered on the top flap. It had a extended handle and wheels. It almost looked like a tote for a sewing machine but smaller with soft sides. I went through the show book looking at all the shop sites but couldn't find where these ladies found the tote. I even asked about it at my LQS with no luck. I would like to get one for going to quilt shows to carry all my great finds home they get a little heavy by the end of the day and would be easier to keep track of in the tote.
Any help finding this would be appreciated, as I would like to get one before the next show.
Thanks,
Donna C. Ohio

I'm wondering if it was a scrapbookers tote, or they might call it a crafters tote. Try JoAnn's, or check one of the online fabric stores{ie: Fabric Depot}
You might even look at sewing machine totes.
Hope this helps and good luck.
Let us know if you find one...

unfotunately most big shows won't allow you to use wheeled anything anymore - saying they are dangerous. Now I see a lot of backpacks that when people turn around, are hitting someone in the face. Aren't the carts safer?

I could have used something like that at the Long Beach show yesterday. By the end of the day my friends had to carry my 2 bags and I did not buy that much. But I have bad shoulders and my back was killing me.
