Since Saturday morning (9/3) we have had almost 10 inches of rain when it started to rain again this morning. Another 3.5 has fallen and it is still raining. I did pray to send it to Texas but I guess I didn't pay in the right way?

Keep praying! We surely need it. I don't think they're going to get these fires totally controlled until we get some good rains (more than 5 sprinkles!)

We have more rain than we can handle. Last night, I was dreaming about technology, and wondered why scientists cannot figure out a way to change the weather patterns. For instance, send the rain to Texas. In my lifetime I've seen color TV introduced, computers, cell phones, ipods the size of a stamp.....GPS.....So why don't they invent a machine that decides who needs sun, who needs rain, etc....

I wish we could send rain to Texas too. We're getting rains from Lee who has stalled out on the East Coast because Katia is blocking it! Ground's so wet, trees are falling over! We'll be in the dark soon...

Southern CA could use a little of that rain too! Fire season! Everything is bone dry! It's suppose to be at least 107 today!

Just saw a good one out on the road: PennDOT truck with a snowplow on it!!! (penndot is Pa Dept of Transportation) Maybe they need the plow to push debris away from the drainage culverts.
