Rating System

How do you feel about this? If you never buy and sell from another member how do you get any rating at all? Will we be allowed to give feedback on someone who just "pays it forward". I have seen that a lot of us donate to those in need. Is this part of the system? There are those that don't buy or sell on this forum so will they just have a 0 rating always?
Sorry, i'm just a little confused

I presume that those of us who do not live in America will not get a rating, as we would not be selling, buying etc. At least most of us won't. Though we may be making quilts for linus etc over here.

I hope we dont all get to wrapped up in this rating thing. I am worried about people being upset if they dont have a rating etc. We have all survived this long without one. It doesn't rate us as people, so if we don't have one that doesnt mean anything negative. With that said ya'll better give me a good one if you swap or buy and sell with me. Just Kidding! I love you all rating or no!

I really don't understand why this is such a big deal. Some are worried about getting bad feed back and others are worried about getting no feed back at all. It's really not that big of a deal. If we are all honest and up front then there shouldn't be any problems.
