Today, I wore my favorite jeans for the last time. Too many holes, too big for me (weight loss) and faded. So I washed them for the last time and someday soon they will join my other "fat jeans" in a quilt.

Chase

On the bright side...
When Kohl's opens up in a few months.....It's shopping time.

Not a sad day - first they are too big for you! Good job! Second you were able to add to your jeans quilt stash. Sounds like a win win to me.

Congratulations! I think you're crying crocodile tears? By the way, love your handle (name, not love handles)!

Thanks, it's hard to say so long to a damm good pair of jeans..lol

I am going to clean the attic this week, several pairs of jeans up there to add to the mix. Going to rid myself of the white elephant "treasures" graciously accepted as gifts from relatives over the years. Cleaning out the attic also gives me a chance to see what I can add to my stash of scraps..lol

Thanks, the name comes from an old Native American medicine man I met ages ago. Kindest old man I ever met.

Oh....I had some jeans like that...so old that they are actually more like threads that I put around my legs than jeans. They wouldn't even make it to a quilt at this point. I finally forced myself to throw them away...it was a very sad day...

Congrats on the weight loss...now I'd start planning that shopping trip if I were you!

Yah for Kohl's!! About 95% of my clothing comes from there. Really inexpensive if you use the percentage off coupons. Had one earlier in the month for 30% off everything. Bought a pair of jeans, dress slacks and a tunic top for under $60!

And now your "fat" jeans becomes part of your stash -- what's sad about that?? :D

Congrats on your weight loss. I understand way you hate giving up on a favorite pair of jeans. It's like losing a good friend.
