Seeking a floppy hat pattern (to cover ears) suitable for a 10 yr old boy

My son has a rare skin disorder and needs to wear a hat to protect his face and ears.

I'm looking for cute hat patterns/designs to make for him so it can be fun instead of an embarassment for him.

    Cash, fabric, I'm flexible...

    Thank you.

That is a very cute hat and could be more so with his choice of fabrics. Could even make a bigger brim if needed to cover the face more.

    Hope one of these help.
