Where is best source for printer ink?
Do you have a good source for inexpensive ink for your printer? I use HP 74 blk & wh , paid 27.99 for a two pack. Does anyone have a better price? Just thought I would ask the board members.

Do you have a place like Rapid Refll around you? We've used them here at the hospital for yrs and I use them at home. My ink is the XL and normally over 40 but I spend 20 or under. You don't have to have the old ones they sell them already filled but you can turn yours in. They are guaranteed against any problems.

I find the stores with the highest prices are those that carry only office supplies. I tried the refills and found I get a lot fewer copies from them. The 2 for $27.99 is about right for Shop-Ko & Wal-Mart. I watch for sales, but they are far & few! When my printer goes out, I`m going to shop around for cheaper ink. I do feel if I get a free quilt pattern that I can print out, I save money by not having to buy it.

Look at www.oddparts.com. I buy bulk ink and refill my own cartridges. They have a section that explains how to refill what ever kind you have. Very good luck with this site....in the past they have answered questions for me.

Ink cartridges are expensive but i learned a lesson the expensive way. I thought I would save some $$ so I bought an office supply house brand cartridge. They did not fit properly and it ruined /bent the printer wires. It was an all in one printer that we paid 199$ for and I ended up tossing it.
I buy online, from Staples. Free delivery and my order is on my front porch the NEXT day! They have great coupons too. I figure that I save gas $$ by not driving the 45 minutes each way to the nearest one.
I will not mess will refilling my own cartridges and I stick with the proper name brand ink. Peace of mind.

I take mine to Cartridge World all the time. They do a great job of refilling and once one of them didn't work and they gave me a replacement. They also punch your card & you get a free one when full. I like the one in Lawrence,KS the best.
