Look around the "checkout" page as most retailers allow you to checkout as a "guest" rather than setting up an account.

Walmart.com R my bestest friend...... I have an account and now get free shipping if your order totals $35. They do have things on line that they do not have in stores.

I have enough cash back to buy a new Go die every few months. No need to check stores for price match, Walmart does it for me.

Thanks for the responses. My objection to having to open an account is just my personal idiosyncrasy; hate having to use (and remember) passwords. A lot of places let you check out as a guest. But I really wanted that fabric so I did open an account and the fabric will be here soon. Just as a background, the quilt I am referring to is a top my GS and his mother made when he was a small boy -he is now in his 30s. His mother (my daughter) died recently and we found the quilt top in her things. Don't know why it wasn't finished. My GS asked if I would finish it for him and, of course, I said yes. So this quilt is very special to both of us. Thanks again for your help.

I keep my usernames and passwords in my address book.
You have to have a username and password here...

Another option might be PayPal. I've noticed many websites now have the option of using paypal or credit card. Does Walmart?

I shop online at Walmart often; set up my account and password and have never had any trouble what so ever. Done this for years.
