I'm back from my trip to the shuttle landing! It was an awesome trip and experience. It was dark and there was not really much you could see, it was like it happened before your mind could register it. However, the two sonic booms heard and will remain in my memory forever. My son and I spent the rest of the day going to Cocoa Beach and touring the Kennedy Space Center and the Astronaut Hall of Fame. It was a perfect day even though we hadn't had sleep for around 36 hours. My son was shocked that his old Mom could do it and keep up (LOL)! It was an amazing day and half and I really appreciated that my son invited me to go with him and have some quality time, it's precious once they marry. The photo was taken after they shuttle had been moved from the runway to the storage facility where it will stay until it's put on display.

Moved to the storage facility.
