I ate a full rack of BBQ'd ribs last night, and a big bowl of spaghetti today, and didn't get a spot on the light color sweater I was/am wearing. This is not normal. What ever could be wrong? :-)

I wear a bib or apron when I'm home when I eat - wish I could find an attractive one for when we go out.

I have this great "shelf" that catches things - - - -

We must be related!
Unfortunately, or fortunately, whatever the case, the ribs were at a restaurant and the spaghetti for lunch today in work. Thankfully, both places have VERY large napkins that I can hide behind.

Send that luck my way! Seems half the time I can't even eat a sandwich without the mustard or mayo getting on my "shelf".

If you find a magic elixor we can take to keep food from hitting our clothes instead of our mouth - I want some. I'm forever dripping or dropping. Nothing has beat a day at work when I went out to lunch with some big-wigs and for some incredibly stupid reason ordered a meatball sandwich. Yep, a runaway meatball hit the shelf, then rolled over the edge and dropped into the lap and rolled on down the leg. And, of course, I was wearing a fairly new powder-blue suit. It left a sauce-track the whole way that never came out.

It seems there are some women who this kind of thing never happens to. They don't ever look messy, they don't ever have a run in their stockings, theirs socks always match, they never break off a heel in the morning and spend the day lurching around. Why is that? And why can't I be like that??

P.S. The BBQ rib rack sounds yummy. I love BBQ.
