My son sent around this link for a color acuity test, which I enjoyed trying. I scored 12, which was not nearly as good as my kids. I don't know if this ability declines with age. I'm curious to know how other quilters do. http://www.xrite.com/custom_page.aspx?PageID=77&Lang=en

That was hard! I scored 38, but is about average for age/gender.

that was fun.
I got a 4 somehow the first time, then 19 the second time around.

Thanks for sharing--fun challenge. I just took the test, I scored a 16--I was on 75% zoom level. Then zoomed to 100%, second score was much better, but then it was the second time I took it too.

Wow! I got a 4!!! The best score for my age/gender was 0 and the worst 1520. Didn't show an "average".

And no ... I was tempted but did NOT use any of my value finders :)

I got 64  - looks like we are in the same age group - I felt a little better knowing 1520 was the worst :-) Perhaps this is why I like scrappy - I'll have to really hone my colour skills if I ever want to do one of those beautiful watercolour or sunshine and shadow designs.

gee my score was 23, but am not sure what that means, but it does seem to be closer to perfect score rather than low color acuity

I wonder how much your monitor screen affects your score
