Default Squirrel in The House

Somehow a squirrel got into the house. Our dog discovered it under our recliner console. I asked a neighbor to bring over her dogs. One got it cornered in the kitchen. The other dogs got in there and one caught it. He had the squirrel in his mouth. Squirrel fur was flying!! I was screaming and so was my neighbor. It somehow got loose and ran out of the house! Wow, I'm glad no one had a video camera on us!! lol

That's an adventure all right. It's good it got discovered because they can do a lot of damage. I can picture you and your neighbor and it sounds funny from here but I'm sure it wasn't when it's in front of you. Thank God it ran away. Sue

I'm glad it made it's escape. I can't imagine what it would have been like to go to bed and hear the ruckus in the middle of the night.

Are you sure that he didn't leave behind any of his buddies?

Be careful ... once they get in ... they often come right back!

Long story short ... I had one a few years ago ... tore open a screen in the window. It just takes a wee slit. I replaced it with animal proof screening. Though a couple of days later ... he found another window with the regular screening. I was lucky that I knew soon enough, and was able to get him out fast enough each time, without any damage! Whew!

Now thats something you dont hear everyday! Reminds me of a time when I had hole in my back screen door and I opened the fridge and a bird flies into my house right into my fridge. I was terrified of birds so I called animal control and they laughed at me and told me I had to get it myself. It was quite a day. My kids bring it up every chance they get!
