I adored my childhood mail carrier. He was wonderful! His name was Howard. He was always very kind and would chat for a few minutes. During the summer I would share lemonade and cookies with him. The guy we have now? Um, no.

I don't see the mail carrier who delivers to my mailbox because it is located in a "collective" area about a block away. The clerks in my post office are awesome. I can't think of a time when they haven't been really great to help.
