I have big Thank You to Fisker Scissors Co.
I bought a pair of Fiskers while on vacation. Did not open package until getting back home. The sicissors had a nick on the blade. I contacted Fiscker customer service. Their warrenty dept give me the necessary info about replacement. Sent a close up picture of the damage, explaining how I got scissors.
Today I received a NEW pair of scissors in the mail. You bet I will support this company.
Sorry story so long but I wanted all to know there are good companies out there. Let us support them.

I had a self-healing cutting mat for less than a year and had read a topic on hear that Olfa recommends their cutting mats to be soaked in water.
I called Fiskars to see if they recommend the same for their product as mine had deep cuts. She told me to take a picture of the mat and e-mail to them showing the damage. I received a new mat in the mail in a little over a week. The do NOT recommend soaking their mats!
I definitely think they are wonderful about standing behind their products and would recommend them to anyone!

I don't have an Olfa mat, however I would contact them directly and ask personally.
I have never heard of soaking the mats. I even worked in the LQS and we were never told that.
