I called Fiskars to see if they recommend the same for their product as mine had deep cuts. She told me to take a picture of the mat and e-mail to them showing the damage. I received a new mat in the mail in a little over a week. The do NOT recommend soaking their mats!

I definitely think they are wonderful about standing behind their products and would recommend them to anyone!
