I am a big fan of red wines - and a lovely smooth piece of dark chocolate just makes it more flavorful, so I am going to have to give the chocolate wine a try.

There is a chocolate dessert wine from a small winery in Paso Robles CA that I just LOVE. We go wine tasting once or twice a year & I always buy a few to have on hand.

They sell it at my local store and I have eyeballed it many times and wondered. Thanks, you might just have given me the boost I needed to buy a bottle and give it a whirl!

In Temeucla Ca. there is a winery called Wilson Creek. They are known for two things - their chocolate desert wine and their sparkling Almond wine. They serve them together in a chocolate cup. You first put the chocolate wine in and then the sparkling wine. It is the most indulgent thing I ever had. They are both awesome on their own to.

I've tried it and like it. I bought the Choco Wine one. It's a bit strong so I like to mix it with...ready for this...milk!

someone brought a bottle to our Christmas party last year. I thought it pretty good sipping stuff! I do like Bailey's more but the price was right! She also brought raspberry Chocolate wine - too much of a good thing!!
