Hurricane Irene left us without power from Saturday until now! It sure makes you think of how much you miss all the conviences. Generators cranked up all through the neighborhood and we dealt with it all as best we could. I truly am thankful that all the familes in our neighborhood came through it well. Having also had the earthquake within the same week was almost too much to imagine! Mother Nature sure has left her mark up the eastcoast.

I now can get back to the sewing machine and catch up with doll quilt exchange partner. I missed everyone here and seeing all the works in progress as well as those that are completed. Let's just pray there isn't another hurricane or anything disasterous heading this way anytime soon!

Back to sewing,

Sharon

So glad you're back. It's awful to go without what we're used to!
