I am up near the Red River, and today was the first day anyone could even get out. The highways were open now and then, between wrecks, but you couldn't get to them from the side streets. We had 2 inches of ice under the 8 inches of snow.

Good thing we had today. The Weather Channel just showed another round of freezing drizzle moving in here about midnight, and more snow Sunday. Then, we get 2 days off, and a worse round supposedly coming on Wednesday. It just won't melt at 9 degrees, and for 2 days, it only varied from 9 to a high of 16 degrees.
Fabulous quilting weather, though!!

I'm over here south of Lk Havasu City & we had low 30s last wk. Colder than my other home in Western Wash. state. A lot of people in the whole Phoenix area have lost their trees & plants. These things are used to temps in 100s so this is a shock.
