I would rather it snow here then drop to these temperatures. It is soooooo cold. Silly boys today they were 'spring' cleaning and turned off the furnance, and just remembered it was off so the house was only at 43. Laying in bed with seven quilts and hot cup of tea. Hopefully everyone here in Casper has a warm place tonight. I worry about people so much when the weather gets to this temperature, the elderly and our homeless.

They keep saying that all that cold weather is heading this way. I'm ready for spring.

Ooohhh, that makes me shiver just hearing about it. We'll get into the teens Tues and Wed nights. I too think about the homeless and our elderly. I can't imagine not having a warm place to lay my head at night. Thank goodness you have your quilts.

    Understand what you are saying

Our son lives in Green River and works for Union Pacific. He's in the train yard most nights and has taken pics of his truck's temp ... bbbbrrrrr

At least he's young and still hot blooded.

    Stay warm and sleep tight

Hey, you're a little warmer than us. They keep flashing it's - 12. It's supposed to be - 16 to - 20 tomorrow. I also worry about all the animals with no shelter standing in the snow. BRRRRRRRR is right.

It was 68 two days ago. Weird winter so far. Hope you stay warm

They have already closed schools here in Wichita for tomorrow. We are supposed to have bitter wind chill factors, so they don't want the kids standing out waiting on busses. Ground is covered and we are expectng more snow than first thought. Puppies are inside, feral cats are well fed and have gotten in under the house. So I guess we are set to hole up.

Yea they closed some of the schools throughout the state here also, due to the windchill. This weather reminds me of when I was active duty in the Air Force and my first station of duty was Eielson AFB, Alaska. I got there the 3rd of January 1989 and it was -50, But now that I am much older this cold really gets to me. I hope everyone is doing well and have everything they need! don't forget to brush the heavy wet snows off your trees.
