Default Shopping Day

Today was my day to try to do some Christmas shopping, along with my usual weekend shopping. With Christmas only a week plus away, we all know how the stores & parking lots can be. Well, I was in for a very pleasant surprise today. Not just once, but all day long. Everywhere I went today people were pleasant. They were polite. They held doors open. They asked if I needed assistance. If they happened to start to cut in front of me with their cart, they apologized & stopped so I could go ahead. I stood in line in one store with just two items in my hand waiting in a long line & the lady ahead of me told me to go ahead of her since I had so little. Even on the roads, people were polite. There were no crazy drivers cutting across lanes. If I signaled that I wanted to come into their lane, they let me. If I was coming out of a parking lot into traffic (right hand turn), the car in the lane let me. It was amazing. This is something I would wish for everyone all the time. Always. So here's wishing you to have a day like this everyday, all day long.

Faith

Ah, the Christmas season - don't you wish it could last all year long?

About the same thing happened to us today - I think it was because of the tragedy of yesterday.

Wish we would all treat each other like this every day, no matter the season.

We can...if we just make up our minds to do it.
