Not sure if this is the right spot or not but just had to share my Hanacock's story from today. Stopped to eat lunch on my to Hancock's and took my carefully saved flyer (with 40% off coupon) with me to read, again, while eating and some how left it there which of course, I discovered on my way into the store. Found fabric for DD robe that she requested for Christmas, which wasn't on sale. Can't wait any longer so thought I would just have to pay full price. While the cleck was cutting the fabric, she noticed a big area of pulled threads and so cut of the whole piece, about 3 yards and started over for my piece. I told her how pleased I was that she noticed that and got rid of it. Then I told her my problem with losing my coupon and she took me right over to the register and rang it up with the 40% off since I had my Hancock's card with me. What great customer service!

That was great! It is just left up to the individual clerk. When I worked at our Hancocks, I would do that!

That is great to hear. Sometimes it seems like customer service has gone the way of the Model T.

Wish we had Hancocks's here. Locally, just a small, understaffed and lightly stocked Joann's. There are some bigger ones in the city (Rochester), that I stop at if I'm in the area, but not worth driving an hour for.
