Default Twelve dozen and fifty-six minimum to go.....

here are dolls 142 thorugh 144 (12 dozen) that are finished. I am working on another and another and another.

Just found out today about a child that 'survived leukemia' and has just now been dianosed with Acute Aplastic Anemia and in need of an immediate bone marrow transplant. I am waiting for more information and if a doll is acceptable, there will be one on its way real soon. Enjoy the pictures

the dolls in white are the 'inside of these topsy turvy dolls'

Cute. Do you have a pattern or can you point to one?

Somehow I remember dolls like this. Just adorable. Thanks to you for doing such a good thing for those that will love and appreciate a companion from a "stranger."!

cwessel47, thanks so much for what you have replied. I appreciate your time and your words. the two dolls posted earlier (two big girls is title) should be there in less than a week now. I hope they will comfort the kids. I have just finished the handwork on 2 more sets of dresses and will take them to the machine today to finish. One had 6 rows of narrow ruffled lace on the skirt.

I remember the doll my aunt had and we used to play with it. We called it an "inside out doll". Loved it! One had brown hair and one had blond hair and the dresses were different but sewed together. Whoever came up with the Inside Out doll should be sainted. I am so glad to see that someone still makes them. Good going! Especially for the children. Edie

    Default update

just wanted to update you that have encouraged and supported me in the making of my dolls for VERY sick kids....that a new doll will be sent out by tomorrow, all the way to Switzerland.

The child is about 4 years old. Born at 16 weeks early, she survived. At age 2, she got Leukemia. she has been cured for 2 years. New diagnosis is Acute Aplastic Anemia.

They have her on a donor list and she will need a bone marrow transplant. Her mother is sending me a mailing address and the free 24 inch doll, dressed in her favorite color of pink, will go out in the mail.

I know some of you are aware about the dolls. I now have 145 done, with 6 standing around waiting for a VERY sick child to love them
