Default upholstery samples with large grommets on corners-what to do with them?

My charity quilting group has received a large amount of nice size upholstery pieces that have ~1" grommets on 2 corners to hang them up for display.

We've been making tote bags, purses and what ever else we can think up to sale at different events to raise money for fabric and batting. We've been cutting the grommets out and throwing them away, but it seems there should be a way to make something from the pieces that inclue the grommets.

You guys are so creative. What are your ideas and suggestions? Links and photos would be nice.

If you're making totes and purses you can certainly use the grommets for straps and to weave fabric in-out of to make bows.

A beach blanket that you can pin into the sand to stop it blowing away.

I saw something where they used the holes to thread the fabric strap through and then tied it in a know to hold it. I wasn't sure what type of knot, because I was not a boy scout and the only knot I know it the one that will come undone easily. Of course, I can't find it again, don't remember when I saw it or what computer I was on.

The annoying part of these samples is the grommets are really close to the edges so it would not work to sew up to the top ....you know, I probably need to post pictures. Hmmm, where is the camera? LOL

I had some of them once and a friend wanted them to make pillows for her church pew. The colors were beautiful and she was happy.
