It's been raining and raining here, and today I saw a neighbor out with the hose watering her flowers. What's up with that???

I had my vegetables in the ground for 2 weeks by this time last year! Even now, it's going down to high 30's and just too cold to plant!

Hello from the Sunshine State where today the skies are overcast. Have to go with the flow when it comes to weather. There are some things you can change and then there are those things you can't...

I live in central TX; I NEVER complain about the rain because we get SO little of it and never when we need it. But when we do, we suffer with days on end of stifling humidity and mugginess. Then comes the 100+ degree weather and no rain in site for 4 months. Wish you guys could send it down here during the summer and we could send you some of the hot and dry. Doesn't work that way unfortunately. Chin up; it'll dry out soon. As they say, nothing lasts forever.

Going to be 100 here in Tucson, no rain in sight. I don't miss that weather, I grew up in Chicago and am so glad to have relocated!!

so sick of the rain, so we headed to myrtle beach sc for the week. No rain, stayed in the 80's and we stayed in our swim suits (water was a little cold) but not for old lady toe washing and 2 and 5 year old grandbabies playing. should have stayed longer, we are back to rain in virginia. Oh yeah, I quilted in the car ride

There are people who have herds of sheep and goats and they rent them out and put them in places to eat down weeds and vegetation, no chemicals involves. When they have done their job and another comes up, off they go to a new place to "fix" the overgrowth.
