Any of you guys and gals in North Carolina (or more like the south east) seen the weather forcast for this weekend :?: :?:

Just came through the living room and DH said we were going to hibernate in the house this weekend. Forcast for Charlotte, NC: 98 on Friday and 99 on Saturday :shock: :shock: :shock: What's up with this? It's only June and summer doesn't start till Sunday. This is more like August weather.

Everybody keep cool and don't over do it if you're outside much.

Forecastfor southern Maine is 60's and rain. We were going to have a yard sale - think NOT!

We have had lousy weather forever it seems. Your temps too hot for me though!

Forecast for southern Indiana -- Hot (in the high 90's) and humid!! I've already been hibernating this week!! Gee, maybe it'll cool down in August :?:

It was 104 Heat index in Lakeland South East GA. today and right at this very min. we are have thunder storms. Lightening really bad. We do need the rain and I am glad it is now instead of daytime. Rain would have just dryed up. Another one is on the way for a little later tonight. It is not suppose to cool off where I am at until after this weekend. DH fianlly got his garden going I will post pictures soon.

East Bay, in Northern California, was terrific today. right around 80....and we have no humidity. this is why we love California...(besides all the fun freaks!)

freakin' weather here is for the ducks- rain rain and more rain. It has rained 18 of the last 26 days. And they say we are in a deficit situation.

I am an hour south of Atlanta and we are having the same weather as you---it is supposed to be 99 tomorrow and Saturday and then 97 on Sunday. What happened to Spring? If this is June, I cannot imagine what August is going to be like!!! I think I am going to be either inside quilting or at the pool this weekend.
