we had about 30 min of hail (only .2" in rain gauge though) that was about marble size. I was sewing upstairs and we have a metal roof--sounded like hail of soft ball size!

I'm in upstate NY. Last night I heard the wind howling. Then I get up this am and it is snowing. Not much just a dusting and wind. Now at 10:42 am it is just windy with no snow.

I do hope all of Midwest is ok. I saw on the news last night about the tornadoes and rain.

The wind was howling so much that those of us on the south side of town did not hear the tornado siren. People two miles out heard it. I should just watch my cats. They (all four of them) went nuts about the time they said they activated the siren. Not one branch was down, very fortunate.
