WEATHER UPDATE
#1
Well, it is 9:25 AM, just got back from grocery shopping - it is +13*. snow is coming and is on the outskirts of Minneapolis. Now, last week we were supposed to have 6-9" and got about 1". This time it says 1" so, no doubt we will get more today - tonight we are supposed to get 3-5". Got coffee, cocoa, marshmallows, eggnog, wine and hot dogs and macaroni and cheese. Typical Minnesota cold weather meal. I see the snow has hit down where our son and daughter in law live. They usually get it worse than we do - they are on a farm.
So, all you Minnesotans, get with the program, get out your snow storm clothes, Pam your shovel, (the temperature just dropped to +12*), we are in a warning now from noon to tomorrow at 6:00 AM. It looks like it is heading up towards Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Happy Day. Keep Warm. My husband is taking me to buy a new portable dishwasher. After 50 years. Whatta guy!!!!!! Edie

My kids were so disappointed last week that we didn't get enough for snowmobiling. That is their goal for tomorrow - we're hoping the 5-7" comes true, we LOVE winter! I got the hot cocoa ready, and am making chicken & dumplings for supper. The perfect meal for a snowy night - gotta love MN!

Rapid City had this weather and just really wasn't ready for it so we sent it on up to you guys. We were suppose to get less than an inch it is still drifted almost 2 feet in my driveway. We had 35-50 mile winds...we live on a corner across from open fields but in town, the ranchers were having a time...keep warm and cozy and enjoy that new dishwasher..we have been married 50 yrs also, maybeeee?
