Do any of you living in the midwest have a weather update in your area for Thanksgiving? We were suppose to drive from MO to OK Thurs am, come back that late afternoon and was wondering if our weathermen MIGHT be wrong?? (freezing snow storms)......thanks

I use accuweather.com for my updates. They're pretty good.

I am in Iowa and we are to have freezing rain/mix to the north of us today. I am in the center of Iowa and will not be going to MN as anticipated. Be safe no matter where you go.

Here in central IN we are supposed to just have torrential rain. They are saying 3-4 inches. We have had very little rainfall since early August and are glad to be getting it...but really wish it would just come an inch, or so, at a time. And, definitely not at a holiday. Hope you have safe travel!

Illinois here---rain, sleet, snow, freezing rain---typical end of November weather. Then it's supposed to be nice on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Cold but nice. Of course, that's not going to help you where you're at. Try clicking on Weather on your browser and typing in the name of the cities that you live in or are going to to find out the latest weather conditions for the next few days. Perhaps an overnight stay would be in your best interest.

In Ohio we already have flash flood warnings posted, and it hasn't even started doing anything yet.

POOH! We have cabin fever already, and the winter really hasn't startd yet. Why is it that the MINUTE we start planning something fun to do, the weather or something else prevents it from happening??
Thanks for the heads up - and hope that you all have a WONDERFUL holiday with your family and friends - This site is FANTASTIC! Thanks again.

We are having beautiful sunny weather here in Virginia. Do wish I could send you some of it. Yesterday was about 68.
Please be careful wherever you go. Happy Thanksgiving.
