I am talking about little things that make you kind of laugh to yourself.

I am originally from California, I have been in Illinois for 15 years. What cracks me up is when I go to a restaurant and on the menu is a "california whatever" and what makes it a "california whatever" is that that slap a slice of avacado on it! lol.. the avacado makes it california. I don't know why that makes me laugh but it does.

It cracks me up to hear "the first 5 lbs. in weight loss is water". Well, so what? You still have to lose the first 5 to get to the next 5!

I work with little kids so they routinely crack me up. The other day, I was listening to one of my first graders read and I caught a flash of pink out of the corner of my eye. It was one of the other first graders "D". So I'm wondering "what is she playing with now" because she is often off task. So I keep watching her out of the corner of my eye to see if I need to get on her case or not and the strip of pink just keeps growing and growing. She had grabbed the top of her underwear and was pulling them up and up and up. I think she would have pulled them up over her head if I hadn't stopped her.

These are the little oddities that make me laugh.

My grandson's slant on life makes me giggle. Today at IHOP he was trying to explain to the waitress that he'd had an upset stomach and chucked up. He told her he was sitting on the bed watching a movie on his mom's computer and all of a sudden his stomach said "Surprise!" and his soup jumped out of his mouth and onto his mom's computer. (He's 4)
