"Don't let yesterday spoil today." I think this one means
forgive and forget, which I have never figured out how to
do. If someone is a stinkweed to you, how do you forget
that? You can realize that they didn't mean it, or were in a bad place when they did it, but it still happened and you remember it. Maybe I was born without a forgivness bone.

(actually, some years ago, probably late eighties, one day my hubby called me at work on my break...he never called me, ever...when we got ready to hang up, i said, "You love me." To which he quickly responded, "You love me too!"
And it stuck :!: :mrgreen:
