Default who's shopping, who's sewing today?

I've done both. LQS has a 20% off everything in the store sale so I went in there first thing, purchased thread and fabric I need for a couple of Christmas gifts. I was home by 9:15 and have been sewing most of the time since.

How about you? What have you been doing today?

My LQS has a huge sale today and tomorrow but I really don't NEED more fabric. I will see if I can resist the lure tomorrow.

I put labels on 5 quilts that will be donated to the tornado victims of Washington, Illinois. Then I spent some time piecing a quilt top.

I always avoid stores on Black Friday, always.

Daughter, grandson and her friend visiting from Russia with son, all stayed over last night. Today I worked on a puzzle with grandson who always gets up early with me. Then we had breakfast, they all worked on a gingerbread village. That is a longstanding tradition for us. Then we had snacks and a birthday cake for grandson who is 9 tomorrow. Enjoyed chatting with everyone, then they headed home by 1:00. I cleaned up the diningroom and dh and I have been just relaxing. Read the paper, took a nap and have sewing machine for a session to work on a Christmas table runner I began a couple weeks ago at a guild class. Had a lovely holiday. I did not leave my property, but walked granddog with visitor in the yard this morning- very chilly here! No plans for the rest of the weekend except relaxing and eating leftovers. Thinking about the cold turkey in the fridge for a sandwich supper. And Of course, visiting with all of you, and playing a bit of Candy Crush. I like that it makes you wait after you lose, so I can go on to doing something else. I am thankful for a lovely holiday and a quiet time with football watching hubby behind me.

I have shopped and shopped some more, I bought myself a Ipad Air, plus a Bluetooth headphones so I can listen while I sew, and a few gifts, I went to JoAnn's and only spent about 10.00 good for me. Have managed to finish a border on a quilt for my daughter for Christmas. Now on to the next one for my sister.

It's midnight here. My DH helped me spray bast his full size apple core quilt. I just finished 6 hours of FMQ, everything hurts right now lol. I'll bind tomorrow and wash it. It's being packed for DH to deploy for a year in the next week....

I stocked up on fabric for a Christmas Quilt. My LQS had 08,09, and 10 bolts at 70% off. 11's were 60% and 12's were 50%. It was a great sale.
