I love this idea! I have a couple pegged thread holders but haven't used them due to the dust issue. Love your solution -- would look good either open or closed.

ha. ha. Well, it's still a good idea. I bought some storage cases for my threads. used to have them on the wall. it's so dry here that dust (dirt) gets everywhere. So I prefer my threads covered, one way or another.

This sounds like a wonderful idea and I love the idea of making a mini quilt on the doors.

That sounds like a great and colorful idea. I have plastic containers I got at WM and when I couldn't get them there and needed more got two from connecting Threads, they are on sale now. Very dusty here and everything gets covered in it. Tht is why I store material in plastic containers I got from FM too..
