I'm sure it will be much warmer there than where you are now.

I love Vegas - only been there once but I did go around the same time of year as you - it was great during the day but the nights were really cold - fortunately mostly you are inside so its not a problem. Its really fun just to wander and see all the sights and people - but there are so many things to see - its a great place to visit in the Winter - have fun.

You don't mention whether you will be having a car...if you do...Great quilt shop in Henderson (suburb of Vegas).
Quiltique. 213 N. Stephanie Henderson. Another favorite of mine is Fiddlesticks in Boulder City. 1229 Arizona St. Boulder City is the town by the Hoover Dam. Really nice area...located on the town square.
I usually go to Vegas every year to visit with my BFF.
Be sure to see the water show at the Bellagio...I've seen it both in the day and evening....love them both.
Make sure you have a warm jacket...the nights get pretty cold.

Warm it up when you get there because I will be out there on Feb 1. Save some fabric for me!

Our highs have been 55-60 last couple weeks. Been waking up to mid to low 30's at 5am.

It is much warmer here in Las Vegas.
I am going to see the curling. My daughter is taking me. I loved it when I went up north and really enjoy the sport.
Quilt shops should include Fabric Boutique and Chirstmas Goose.

It is warmer here. Definitely need to hit all 4 of the quilt shops. If you don't want to drive yourself, I know there is a company that does a quilt tour of the shops.

My best ever girlfriend is moving to this area later this year - have made note of these stores - thanks!
